Shamata is a town in the Kingdom of the Isles. It is located within the disputed Vale of Dreams, near the Sea of Dreams. Originally it was only built as a garrison to defend against Kesh, but in time it grew into a large settlement. The garrison commander in Shamata answers only to the King, much like the Border Baronies of the north.
