Tan-jin-qu (ancient Tsurani for 'lifelong' or 'until death') is an ancient form of vassalage.

It required that any pledge made was impossible to revoke, amend, or modify during one's lifetime as if he were a part to the other's household.

The family which pledges tan-jin-qu could not be threatened, bullied, bought, or bribed to betray their masters.
